If that sounds familiar, you're not alone.

This is about your voice, your words, your real English.

So what does Azizan mean?

The word comes from Persian and can be translated as my dear, my darling or my beloved.

I chose this song because it has recently gone viral here in Poland, not only because the tune is catchy, but also because Ed Sheeran actually fulfilled a bet with a Polish influencer.

I picked five phrases from the song that are useful, everyday style English, as always here.

For example, meet me at a cafe.

Number two, show me how to move like the water.

Show here is used as imperative.

And in present perfect, they have shown great support, have shown.

Now, some more grammar.

After how, what, when, where, why, questions basically, we usually use infinitive 2 plus verb.

Let me know how to fix it.

Number three, I wanna be nowhere but here with you now.

Nowhere but here.

I don't care what they say, we can do it our way.

It means doing something in the manner you prefer, regardless of what others think.

And here are some alternative expressions with similar meanings.

Follow your path.

Follow your own path.

And now two sentences with a bit more context.

careless careless means not worrying not being cautious not being careful being relaxed sometimes also without regard or thought so it can have neutral or even positive or negative meaning depending on the context for example careless mistake is a mistake that was made due to lack of care but not on purpose

Now, let's move on to the practical part of this episode.

In this part we're going to repeat out loud ten sentences from today's lesson.

You listen and repeat after me.

This is fantastic because it teaches you how to get used to your own voice in English, trains the muscles you need for speaking and benefits you on many levels, including your nervous system.

It also helps you automate the phrases, collocations and grammar we've learned today.

Don't forget to download your worksheet from teacherola.com forward slash 318.

And speaking out loud to yourself at home is great.

Repeating sentences out loud here with me is absolutely brilliant.

No time wasted at all.

You also need conversations.

And I know your goal is to speak English fluently, right?

By fluency I mean being able to express yourself freely, to share your thoughts without translating in your head, without pausing, to search for the right words.

That's why speaking is so important.

That's also why I created Voice Loop.
