Episode 34: Michael Mascuch is associate professor at the University of California in Berkeley. He specialises on early modern history, while working at the Department of Rhetoric, with keen interest in egodocuments. He also serves as co-editor at the Brill series Egodocuments and History. The conversation revolves around the questions of personal and academic choices that shaped his career, and the specificities of American academia and the changes it underwent in recent years. He is the author and editor of several books, and numerous articles, among them:
